Nicola Broom
Nicola has over four years’ experience as a Senior Assistant Audiologist at Treliske Hospital and is the main Ear Wax Removal Clinician at The Ear Clinic, taking over the service from Leanne. She holds professional qualifications in Hearing Care and is fully certified in ear wax removal using the safest microsuction techniques. Nicola is passionate about delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred ear care in a calm, professional and friendly environment. Using the latest technology, each appointment includes a detailed assessment of ear health and a hearing screening test. Wax removal is carried out when clinically appropriate, with a strong focus on safety, comfort and ensuring patients feel informed and reassured throughout their visit. Nicola is committed to supporting patients’ hearing health and providing a high standard of care at every appointment.
Alison Parsons
Alison Parsons is Nicola’s business partner at The Ear Clinic Cornwall and plays a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of the clinic. With over 28 years’ experience working within Education, Alison brings a strong background in organisation, communication and working closely with people. Following a change in career, she is delighted to support her sister Nicola in delivering a welcoming, well‑run and patient‑focused service at The Ear Clinic. Alison has always had an interest in ear health and in supporting those living with hearing loss. She will predominantly be based at reception, where she looks forward to meeting and greeting patients, assisting with appointments, and helping ensure every visit to the clinic is a positive and reassuring experience.
Sue Rawling
Sue has many years of customer service experience. You'll find Sue on reception on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Martinne Humphreys-Tasker
Martinne is certified in Wax Removal using the safest Microsuction techniques. Using the latest technology, a detailed assessment of your ear health will be made, a hearing screening test completed, and wax removal performed if needed.
Debbie Hilder
Debbie had many successful years running her own massage business. You will find her on reception on Thursdays.
